From Vintage wooden fishing lure ID?
Can anyone identify this great temptation and old wood fish? It is appx. 7 "long. The tail propeller intentionaly galvanized steel sheet, causing the tail section of the tin to turn back. It seems to be a "Musky Mud Puppy ", built by Charles Roberts Consance Bait Co. Monsinee, Wisc. CIRCA. 1928. I look in the" Paper Collectibles Fishing Lures "second edition, page 242. Apart from the painting of her appeal is identical to the one shown, including the length of 7 "
