making fishing lures plastic
What is the best color soft plastic LURE / worm to use with a red check?

I've heard before that red hooks work well when Bass Fishing … something about this makes the attractiveness / appearance of the worm as their bleeding. My question is: what is the best color for use with this book. Is it even matter. I use a device the size of Texas in 3 vessels Round Bend Gamakatsu hook. Tv shows I think I saw where the Pro uses a lure in the color, such as Chartreuse. Any help make … thanks.

This is a very difficult because some swear by the red check and others, like I say gadget. If you means the color spectrum underwater, the red does not really disappear, it becomes gray-black after a few feet. The idea behind is that Red Hook is supposed to be used for water applications or more than 3 meters from the water column. This is true to some extent, but the clarity of the water plays an important role. Crystal clear water and you can see the red on the hook until it hits bottom. Contaminated water and is just a few feet. This, in combination with a bait will be seen as bait is the burning of the gills … a sign of danger or food, no bleeding. This system is expected to cause the fish insticnt attack involuntarilly. Yeah … anyway, you can use these hooks any color you can convince dream. Is supposed to be better with the water up and down to 3 feet, but as I said, water clarity is the key.

The advent of the drop press and other mechanical devices made it possible for the early American lure manufacturers to compete with what had previously been an English market. Beginning in the mid to late 1800s, firms such as J.T. Buel, W.D. Chapman, and the Enterprise Manufacturing Company produced lures that rivaled their overseas counterparts both in quantity and quality. This book provides a written and visual history of these and many other American lure companies.
