What bait to use for bass heavy cover?

Location: I'm helping a fisherman trying to catch rookie milfoil heavy fish (pushed all the way to the surface.) What is the best and easiest presentation without hitch? I Spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, spoons, without snuff, Jitterbugs etc. Please give me your top 3 technique. I suggest to stay away from rolling or pitching templates or lizards as my friend did not install or experience with fish plastic in this way.

In the situation of the thicker grass, I use Senko type worm rigged Texas style with the smoking ban and fishing without weight, easy to cast these lures – I threw on the grass and pull it toward the openings of the grassy and fish slowly through the opening and repetition. It also drew on weed lines and fish slowly by shaking the rod tip.
